No Men Allowed Past this Point!

This is a sneak peek into my dorm room...guys close your eyes, no men allowed. I will have to take a picture of the "no men allowed past this point" signs. They crack me up! This is pretty much everything that I have here... I kind of miss all my clothes, but life is much more simple without so much stuff. I don't know how I got so lucky, but I have one of the nicest (by a long run) dorm rooms on campus. Mine is small but about twice the size of the other rooms. Its comical how small some of them are. I also got lucky with my roomie! She is so awesome! I will tell you more about her when I get a picture to post.

First Day on the Beach

This was a first day on the beach...notice the sweatshirt. Most days we go to the beach the weather is beautiful until we actually get there then it gets windy and cold and sometimes starts to rain. Story of my life :)! The top picture was taken after Mallory looked for her glasses for about five minutes...when they were on her face the whole time. It was pretty dang funny! Mal is one of my best friends here. She is so much fun and the ultimate dance partner! We often have contests to see who can look the most ridiculous at dances...so much fun! (I wish so bad I could discribe BYU-H dances...they are so hysterical! Think every culture of dancing in the world stake dance style- surprisingly they are so much fun!) The color of my skin is pretty pathetic in these pictures. Its getting a little better, but not much.
This is my beach get up... Barbie scooter, ultimate beach skirt, hakuna matata shirt, backpack (full towel, beach mat and of course heavy books- yes its not all play- the beach usually involves studying), and boogie board (I have only had the chance to use that 2 whole times now because there is usually not enough time to get wet and take a shower before work). I hope you all realize the talent it takes to ride a scooter with a boogie board strapped on your back. I wish you could see how I had it attached. It was pretty funny. I guess that is my concentration face...or at least that is my excuse.

BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS!

Just a bunch of random pictures of campus... I would argue that this is the most beautiful campus in the world. I think it grows on you too. You would think that I would start to get used to the beauty, but I think it is the opposite. I will admit sometimes I get in a bad mood and I have to stop and look around and remember how lucky I am. The blond below is my good friend Hannah...She transfered from Provo and fits the ultimate Mormon Idaho girl stereotype pretty perfectly. I love her! The other picture had bad overexposure, but I think it looks really cool. That is how the sun feels here sometimes and I love it!

My temporary home! This is the courtyard of my Hale (dorm). I love walking out my front door in the morning. It is so beautiful...and warm!
